If there is a superpower most photographers have, it’s instinct. We’re trained to read the room, measure the space, and more importantly, get a sense of our couples. It guides how we move, when we step in, and when we stay back.
But it also means we’re sometimes wrong.
With Willie and Mia, though, one thing felt clear early on. This was going to be a celebration with its own energy.
The morning already hinted at it. The vibe was lively, almost effortless. The bridal party moved naturally, there was laughter, a bit of chaos, moments that didn’t need to be arranged. Then it shifted into the tea ceremony, where everything slowed down. Still warm, still full of life, but grounded in tradition and family.
At Ayana, the setting did its part. Open spaces, clean lines, a strong visual frame. But the wedding never leaned too heavily on it. The couple carried the pace. Even during the ceremony, as composed as it looked, there was always a sense of movement underneath. A kind of ease that made everything feel real.
For me, it became less about directing and more about following. Watching where the energy moved, letting moments happen, trusting the timing.
This gallery is packed with their best moments, stylish, lively, and effortlessly beautiful. A celebration that feels as genuine as it looks. Hope you enjoy it!
Adi.
