Happy & Grateful
Luki & Irma saying yes
"...this trip was perfect because we get to share it with you"

Luki and I initially planned our pre-wedding photoshoot in Bali, but Adi encouraged us to explore other places. I’m glad he did. Because it means we all got to sit down, and open a map searching for a place where Luki wouldn’t be so cranky posing for hours under the scorching sun. The deal was sealed when all of our fingers were pointing at Bromo Mountain. So we dropped beach and headed to the cool mountain air and breezy savannah.

As a stylist, I fancy wrapping up pretty mood boards, and winking at my clients to pray for good weather. Now as the client, I was constantly anxious about the weather in Bromo. And suddenly, boom. It was announced to be raining on our chosen date. I prayed hard daily, asking God for good weather and surrendering the whole photoshoot to Him.

The Ursa Minor was still visible to our naked eyes when our jeep zoomed through Bromo’s sea of sand to reach Penanjakan, right on our chosen date. Once arrived, tourists and their long range lenses had already been piling up in the area. We took a detour and searched for a quieter place. We climbed a small hill and reached the top panting. But just as the sun showed up, the sky was painted with pretty pink and pastel colours. Not even a single cloud blocked our view. It was breathtaking! This first scene is my favourite, the sun was perfect and the photos turned out better than we expected.

I am overwhelmed with gratefulness that God answered my prayers. I believe it's God's favour that everything went smoothly. He was there in every step of our preparation. We had such a blast and those memories will stick with us for a long time. Thank you Adi for capturing our moments beautifully, no one could have done it better than you! And to everyone who were there with us, this trip was perfect because we get to share it with you :)

Love,

Irma.
