Gingerbread Goodness
"Your purchase of each gingerbread house will directly help people from the Oefafi Village."

Do you want to build a snowman? No, let’s build a gingerbread house instead!

It’s almost that time of the year again… the most wonderful time of the year! Yes, it is. For some reason, Christmas never fails to bring me back to the good old days when I looked forward to getting ready for the season with my parents. The house felt so warm, the carols played throughout our home, and the smell… our house always smelled the nicest at Christmas. Candles scented with vanilla and the smell of freshly baked cookies… hmmmm… Christmas is truly my favorite season!

This year, I got to enjoy the season earlier than usual, a month early to be exact, at the Creamy Comfort Gingerbread House photo session. It almost felt like an exclusive sneak preview to Christmas and it felt wonderful.

I also want to take this chance to share some interesting information about the Gingerbread House Kit Project. It’s the newest creation from the creative ladies at Creamy Comfort. It is a kit that comes with a set of items for you to build a gingerbread house of your own. Each box consists of gingerbread cookie house panels, Christmas characters, colourful candy assortment, and decorative icings. You don’t need to bake it. It’s all ready for you to assemble, decorate, and turn into your very own gingerbread house. The best part is that you can even eat it too!

This project is the perfect Christmas project because in building these gingerbread houses, you are also helping people build their homes too. Creamy Comfort is working together with JPCC Foundation to give back to the community through this special project. A portion of the profit will go towards supporting the works done by JPCC Foundation, to bring solutions to underdeveloped remote areas in Indonesia, to provide clean water, better housing, and to empower economic change. Your purchase of each gingerbread house will directly help people from the Oefafi Village in Kupang to install metal roofs, brick walls, and tile floors.

It is a project that is good inside and out. It is delicious, it is beautiful, and it feels good for the heart. It is the perfect Christmas project.
