If I had to describe Karlo and Mikee’s wedding in three words, it would be: fun, energetic, and real.

But those words only tell part of the story. What stood out most to me was how natural everything felt. They are the kind of couple who carry an air of genuine warmth and a soft-spoken demeanor.

In every gesture, you could feel their full emotion, especially in how deeply appreciative they were of the people around them. From their heartfelt vows to the way they interacted with guests, everything felt sincere. At one point, we even ended up taking photos together at their photobooth. It did not feel like work. It felt like being part of their circle!

Couples like Karlo and Mikee naturally shape the outcome of their own gallery. The balance of emotion you see in these photos comes from something simple and honest. The energy of the images will always mirror the couple. With them, the lightness and brightness were not created, they were already there. My role as a photographer was simply to recognize that energy and move with it.

And if there is one thing I always avoid, and that is interrupting real emotional moments, especially between parents and their children. During this wedding, there was a quiet exchange between the bride and her mother that said more than any pose ever could. I stepped back and let it happen.

That is what makes their wedding gallery extra meaningful. Not perfection, but the presence that Karlo and Mikee exuded in every way.

Will.
